The Rubicon Name
Our name, Rubicon, refers to the irreversible decision that Julius Caesar made when he crossed the river Rubicon over two thousand years ago. Today, the phrase “crossing the rubicon” signifies committing to a decisive and difficult course of action from which one cannot turn back. We aim, through our programs and services, to help individuals cross their personal rubicon and build new lives from which they will not turn back.
